Country hit-maker Tim Hicks returns May 22 with his sixth full-length album Going Somewhere, arriving just two days after kicking off his national headline Going Somewhere Tour in Canada.

Released via Open Road Music and Symphonic Distribution, the album builds on the momentum of the title track ‘Going Somewhere,’ a #6 hit at Canadian country radio, and leans into Hicks’ signature country rock sound, driven by big guitars, strong hooks, and a high-energy feel built for the stage.

Leading the campaign is the new single ‘The Pilot,’ impacting radio alongside the album release. Built around the hook “let love be the pilot,” the track is set up as a key radio and live moment heading into the North American summer.

Developed alongside collaborators Jeff Coplan, Deric Ruttan, Derek Hoffman, and Dave Thomson, the project brings a mix of sounds and perspectives while staying rooted in Hicks’ lane. The record moves from the gritty title track to the summer-driven ‘Tequila Gold’ and ‘Chasing the Sun,’ alongside heavier cuts like ‘Voodoo On It’ and more reflective moments including Quits’ and ‘I’m Not Ready.’

Going Somewhere will be available across all digital platforms, as well as on limited edition cherry red vinyl, which fans across the world can now Pre-Order.

“I’ve been working on this one for the past couple years, trying to get it just right, so it feels pretty great to finally send it out into the world. There’s a lot of range on this record. I got to play piano and record with my live band in studio, which was really special. I hope people feel that when they listen, and I can’t wait to bring these songs on the road.” – Tim Hicks
