DEAR TOMMIE RELEASES DEBUT SINGLE & MUSIC VIDEO 'WINTER IN JULY'

Dear Tommie

‘Winter In July’ is the debut release from Tamworth born and bred artist, Dear Tommie!

Dear Tommie, who recently performed at a showcase in Sydney with breakout international country star Dasha, has always been something of an enigma amongst her peers.

Unafraid to take risks, she pairs authentic farm girl grit, with all the sass and finesse of a bona fide city slicker.

With prominent influences of Bruce Springsteen, Megan Moroney and Zach Bryan, she unashamedly shares a reflection of her soul.

Teaming lyrics that speak of heart felt yearnings and wonder with bombastic earworm beats, Dear Tommies’ unique sound will be sure to affect your every pore not by the least due to her vocal ability & intimate style.

She knows what it means to be country and if you don’t fall in love with her charm, you will with her songs.

Winter in July’ is an Australiana take on the song ‘Colder Weather’ by Zac Brown Band.

Dear Tommie resonated with the story of falling in love with a man who has a gypsy soul.

But overtime realised what they searched for was there all along.

In ‘Winter In July,’ Dear Tommie expresses her POV, showing she won’t wait for someone to realise what they have until it’s lost.

Dear Tommie’s music is a tribute to her heritage and the reconnection to her roots, compelled by passion.
