An exciting new internationally based Australian country duo has emerged in the form of Leaving Lennox.

The Sydney act comprised of Mick Hambly and Lauren Vale, made their way to Nashville Tennessee in mid 2019 and are now based there full-time.

They recently released ‘Not Ready (To Leave Just Yet)’ … their debut Australian radio release.

The pair’s unique sound combines elements of country, folk and pop, mixed with soulful lead guitar work.

Leaving Lennox has already toured throughout Tennessee, Illinois, Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Texas in 2019, playing a string of festivals and shows. These have included, Georgia’s “Big Red Apple Fest”, “Clarksville Riverfest”, “Kentucky’s “Annual Artisan Festival” & Florida’s “Frank Brown International Songwriting Festival”.

At the 2019 International Frank Brown Songwriting Festival, they were chosen as one of 200 featured songwriters, alongside Grammy Award winner Tanya Tucker.

And at the beginning of 2020, Leaving Lennox made their debut at Nashville’s famous Wildhorse Saloon,

They were announced a ‘semi finalist’ in the UK songwriting competition, for their song ‘Old Love,’ which is available to listen to on streaming services.

Like many, since the closing down of most live music venues across the world, the pair have made the move to online virtual concerts. They recently played on a live stream for the largest Maton Guitars retailer in the United States, “Artisan Guitars” in Nashville TN.

‘Not Ready (To Leave Just Yet)’ was co-produced by Aaron Sterling (live drummer for John Mayer) and features touring musicians, David Levita (Tim McGraw) and Eric Fortaleza (Lindsay Ell).
